Welcome to Florida Fishing Magazine!

I am the owner of www.capmel.com. My colleague and friend, the late Captain Mel Berman built this site and devoted so much time to writing for and maintaining this site. The site statistics have averaged about 8 million hits per month, something that will accelerate with what I will describe below. I maintain the articles on the home page, the 30 guide fishing reports, half a dozen fishing forecasts and other resource buttons on the site. This site is one of the best fishing internet destinations ever created with resources that cover all aspects of Florida fishing.

I have taken the steps to bring it up to modern technological standards. With that, improved speed and a lot of things reorganized but with still the same basics that Mel set up for his site: It has been reborn and will see huge volume increases with the plan I have ready to implement. The wealth of archived articles have been organized and transferred to the new site.

Advertisements on capmel.com will get you some very powerful visibility. Ads get good visibility because of site traffic and have very affordable rates. CapMel.com can dramatically increase your site traffic and interest in your product or service particularly at a time when print advertising does not work as well as web ads. Your ad placement and exposure can also be supplemented with contributor support. For instance, if you are a paid advertiser and you have a pro staff member who can give field tested product reviews of your product, I will use them on the site with your ad. Take a look at the Product Review page. These are articles that are also taking strong hits with the live links supported by the vendors and the Pro Staff using them on social media (and email).

At this time, ad spaces will only be available on the main pages and articles I build for capmel.com. If you are not aware of them, take a look at the forums section (http://forums.capmel.com/). We prohibit members from doing any blatant advertising of products as protection to our paid advertisers. As paid advertisers, we encourage people who enjoy your products/facility or services to discuss them openly on the boards. Our popular forums have over 6000 members and countless site visitors who read the main site information and forums but don’t necessarily participate. Future correspondence with all site members will be made by emailed newsletters.
