There are a few scents that reminds me of spring and it is my father’s orange blossoms and the jasmine outside my house. To help the anglers whole will be fishing this weekend look for trout to be in the 3 to 4 foot range on the rocky spots along the nearshore bays. I’ve been using MirrOlure Provokers in pearl with a chartreuse 1/8 oz. jig head. Make long cast ahead of the drift of the vessel and use a vertical retrieve . Look for the color change between rock and deep water. The rocks will be a brown/yellow and the transition zone will be a blue/green color. The trout will be right near the color change.

Red Fishing south of the river has been good on the last hour of incoming tide. The best bait has been a shrimp under a cork, drifted across the points or down the edges of the keys. If you see mullet all the better. Incoming tide will be mid morning this weekend.
