Sea trout and mangrove snapper have been my best catches this past week with a few redfish mixed in. The redfish bite seems to be scattered and more of a one here, one there on rocky points. Cut pinfish and cut mullet are the best baits. The trout bite believe it or not is best in the 3 to 4 foot range inside Homosassa and Chassahowitzka Bay. Look for rock grass and use a popping cork with either a MirrOlure LiL John in watermelon redflake or glow goldglitter. For mangrove snappers rockpiles in 6 to 8 foot have them but surprisingly on high tide there are some nice keepers on the rocky points of mangrove keys. Use a live shrimp and sight cast to the bigger fish for some fun action.  The scalloping is chugging along with some work snorkerlers are getting 3 or 4 gallons of a 10 gallon boat limit. I heard of some better numbers south of Chassahowitzka channel. Incoming tide will be late afternoon this weekend.
