Report: Billy Miller

Inshore Fishing Inshore we have had some fantastic catches of snook, trout, and a few redfish. All are closed at the moment but not to worry the sheephead fishing has been spectacular and has been filling the cooler. They are some of the most under rated species we have but one of the finest eating fish.

Nearshore Fishing This past week we saw a real sign of things to come. Large schools of bait have moved on to the beach and we had some great catches of spanish mackerel, sharks, and bonita. We did not see any kingfish but everything is in place for a great spring run.

Tarpon

It will not be long now. The big silver kings will be headed this way before we know it. now is the time to start looking at your books to find the best days. We actually saw a handful of them this past week!
