Ingredients

3 cups water
1 lemon, quartered
2 tablespoons seafood seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 snow crab clusters (2–3 lb)
Melted butter, optional

Steps

  1. Combine water, lemon, seasoning, and pepper in large stockpot. Place steam ring or steamer basket in pot. Cover and bring to a boil on high.
  2. Add crab clusters to pot; steam 4–5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve with melted butter.

Other Preparation Methods

  • Boil: Place 2–3 lb snow crab clusters and 1 teaspoon salt in 6 quarts boiling water for 3–4 minutes and until thoroughly heated. Drain and serve with melted butter.
  • Grill: Wrap 2–3 lb snow crab clusters and 1 tablespoon butter in foil; grill over indirect heat for 5–7 minutes and until thoroughly heated
