Another longer lag between “blogs”.     Who cares?  A few of you do.  I started to hear about it.   I can make them more frequent.    On with the news:

Pinellas County bans horseback riding in the aquatic estuaries.    What took so long?      Horses crapping in the water.   Hooves destroying seagrass.   It should have never been allowed.

The reactions were interesting.    Too many people protesting it.    Now, some valid points:  St Pete needs to stop spilling sewage into the Bay.    The negative impacts of this, it was an obvious choice.    The future:   We determine it.   This is a positive step.    People.  What they said.   It doesn’t compute.   It’s a horse.   Ride it in a field where horses are supposed to be.

But it’s not just this issue.   There are a number of them.   I don’t understand why people feel the way they do.   It is growing evidence:   I need to eventually go into seclusion.

Left Earth:   Jim Dolan.    Eric Cooper.   Jim, I met one time.   He did tons of work taking disabled vets fishing.   I helped him with that locally.    Eric was an umpire, 52 years old   Died from a blood clot after knee surgery.    That one bothered me.   Surgery to continue umpiring.   If he doesn’t have the surgery, he’s still alive.   Instead, just more of the departed.   One day it will be me.

Animal cruelty is now a felony.   OK, I’m fine with that but aren’t there other things to work on?

Men in womens sports.   Good one.   If you are a guy and you are competing in women’s sports:   Your father must have been a real loser.

The Clintons have all that money, couldn’t they get Chelsea some plastic surgery?

People who let me down:  The theme of the last decade.    Trying to help someone out.   Reserve part of the day to meet with them.   They don’t show up.    Don’t call me.

Woman accused of faking cancer received over $10,000 in donations.    Well, that’s not good either.   The people who really have cancer deserve the help.   People want something for nothing.   This is just another thief.

A car goes through the flashing lights, hits the guy on the bike.   Keeps on going.    You learn it when you learn to drive:  You don’t leave the scene of the accident.   You screwed up.   How is life for you now?   Sleep good at night??

Changes in life.    Making things more complicated instead of less complicated:   I bought the local bar.    Getting that deal finalized and then going to work with improvements and making it into a destination.   Finishing the deal.   Then all the work.

Copernicus wants NFL tryouts.   No one wanted him for three years.  What’s changed?   He’s older.   Anyone picking him up gets boycotted.    I believe he is just in it for the publicity.   I would say it has been about the publicity the whole time.   But what do I know.

Watching TV in general, as my father used to say “All these channels and nothing to watch.”   I’ve watched the ones I like multiple times.    If not for the occasional sporting event, having cable is a waste of money.

The blog, pretty popular.   Non fishing information on a fishing site:   It adds some variety I guess.   For some reason people like to hear what’s on my mind.    I make fun of stuff.   I’m mesmerized by some stuff.   Online, the woman yelling at a cat has been interesting.    Where do these things come from?  I don’t know who the woman is but she is infinitely popular.

A second tournament.   A trout tournament.   Redfish are a “buy in” species.   That makes payouts higher for a single fish.    $30 entry fee.   January 25th.    Host site:   Nelson’s Pub in Clearwater.   Negotiations:   Nelson’s is likely to become Strike Three Sports Pub.   The Classic is on April 27th, 2020.
