The Fishing for Hope Food Drive to benefit Metropolitan Ministries will be held this year on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Please join me, “Reel Animals”Capt. Mike Anderson, “Average Angler”Glen Pla and many other bay area fishermen as we try to sink our boat, The S. S. Hope, with food.
The hours are 9am – 2pm and the location of the Holiday Tent is 2609 N. Rome Ave., Tampa, Fl. 33607. The same tent location as last year. It is 1 block from “Rick’s on the River.”
We need frozen turkeys, canned vegetables, and fruit, jello, peanut butter and other nonperishable food items to provide the needy with a wholesome Thanksgiving dinner. Monetary donations are also thankfully accepted.
All you have to do is pull up under the Holiday Tent, and volunteers will help you unload your donations.
If you would like to volunteer to help us unload be at the Holiday Tent by 8:45am. Look for me or one of our volunteers and we will get you set up. All volunteers will need to wear a mask and gloves. We will have them for you if you do not have your own.

This is a very challenging year and with our help the needy of Tampa Bay can have a dignified Thanksgiving meal and be introduced to Metropolitan Ministries and their programs of help.
