Nothing much has change from last week except more fish have moved into our Nature Coast Rivers. Live shrimp on the bottom of the deeper parts of the channels that are close to shore with rocky points and shorelines are the spots to target. The fish likely to be caught are black drum, red fish, sheepshead, mangrove snapper and trout. Tides, even high tides are dictated by passing cold fronts and just before one we will get a south west wind to push in big water but when it switches around we will have serious low tides. Regardless what the tide charts say during the winter winds will rule the tides in our area. We have a approaching front this week so the weekend will be a cold one so best bets will be the rivers. Just would like to say “Thanks You ” to the anglers who read my reports and Merry Christmas. High incoming tide this weekend will be in the afternoon is the northeast wind allows it to happen.
