I had the privilege this past week of taking a daddy daughter duo out for a morning of quality time together fishing in the bay.  Mom works in a hospital and was taking a well-deserved break on the beach away from our current pandemic situation.  The 10-year old girl was excited to catch an abundance of fish and possibly out fish her father.  We caught ten different species from the same spot including mangrove snapper, lane snapper, gag grouper, red grouper, black sea bass, silver trout, white grunts, Spanish mackerel, lady fish, and the elusive puffer fish. We kept one mackerel for them to enjoy fresh that evening for dinner.   While the 5th grader will remember a fun day spent with her dad, only the father realizes how special these moments are.  Our morning was capped off on the way in with dolphins riding in our wake and playfully jumping for our entertainment.
